Breakfast with view
I had a breakfast meeting at the Mid-America Club which is on the top floor (80th) of the building where I work. I took a couple of happy snaps from up there.
In the first pic, you can see Marina Towers where I live (the two round buildings). It seems strange to be looking down on them.

Good lord that's high up.
In pic 2, what's that building in the lower left with the slanted roof? It's always been my favorite, especially at night.
JP, that's the Smurfit-Stone building, but here in Chicago it's affectionately referred to as "The Vagina Building."
The slit in the middle used to be lit up at night but they removed those lights because it was way too suggestive. Really. I'm not making this up.
Holy crap. I'd never heard that. And this pretty much proves I'm gay because I never once made that connection.

The Vagina Building gives me the willies. Go figure.
