It Starts Earlier Every Year . . .
Here it is. September 29th and the tops of all the skyscrapers here in Chicago are lit up in pink.
Sigh. The decorations for Breast Cancer Awareness Month begin earlier every year.
Sheesh!

Oh, I hate that. The breast cancer awareness cards and wrapping paper and ornaments show up on the shelves before Labor Day has even come and gone. Really takes the magic out of it, if you ask me. Breast Cancer Awareness has just gotten too commercial. OH! And get this, there's a big broohaha in the Seattle Public Schools now because some families are offended by the notion of the annual Breast Cancer Awareness pagent and they want it to be called the "Chestal Area Malignancy Happens, You Know" pagent because "not just women get breast cancer". Fracking hippies.
Awww. That's horrible. Damn Seattle salad-heads!
I think there should be a testicular cancer awareness month. But ever since Lance Armstrong did his thing, EVERY month is testicular cancer awareness month.
